In 2023, avianca’s long haul fleet had completely converted into only B788 fleet. Discarting their A330s and repurposing some of them into cargo planes. A move that didn’t go so well in the long run, due to the issues with the B788s engines. Years later, avianca still uses A330 from their brother airline, Wamos Air.
